I've had my fill of doom and gloom, what about you? I think it's time we get our party started again!! Just enjoying our spring is enough reason to celebrate. So I ask you, where are your dreams? When the Going Gets Tough, The Tough Get Going

     I know you’ve heard this saying before, but have you ever wondered if it applied to you? Right now I think it applies to all of us and if there is one gift that tough times brings it is our creativity.

     Don’t we just wish that our most brilliant moments could be conjured up when we are sitting on the balcony enjoying the sunset in some tropical isle? Yeah, for sure that would be great, but life doesn’t work that way, does it? No, it is when we face our biggest challenges that the muses come and whisper in our ears.

     What have your muses been saying to you these days? The secret to keeping the flow open is to never say no to any new or crazy ideas that might pop into your head. You see, the idea is everything. It is what is needed to get your fire going again, even when the wood might be damp from sitting around too long.

     Nothing in the outside environment, whether it is our environment, or the global one, until you change inside. Yes, you heard me correctly. You must be the change that the world needs. So must I. We are the good the world is waiting for. We are waiting for your gift, girl. It is the spark that will make all the difference.

     I’ll help spread the word about your gift and dreams to the big world. Just send them along and I’ll post them on the Distinctively Diva Dish blog. Maybe today is the day you see a break in the wall that has been standing in front of you. And if it’s not today, then it is in a tomorrow that is rushing forth to get to you. Don’t despair, your break is coming as long as you don’t quit.

     So today, as you read this message, take your dreams down off the shelf and dust them off. We’re waiting for you with baited breath.

When we were children, we were so into our present surrounding we could watch a movie or play a game, over and over again. As adults we usually grow tired of the AGAIN game, as if delight was an inconvenience. Remember the last time you got flowers? Wouldn't it be great to get them again? How about the last time you had a massage, a kiss, a hot fudge sunday. All of those delights fall into the category of AGAIN. With every thing in life you have a choice to use your powers for good or evil. Make, Let's Do It Again, your call to arms for a life full of fun and delight. And the next time you run across something that just tickles you pink, by all means, do it AGAIN.
