TAKE FIVE MINUTES FOR YOURSELF
A Personal Message from Maureen O'Crean

RING. The alarm clock sounds and we are off and running for another day of our life and we run and run until we drop at the end of the night. I was tired of all my days blending together, so I developed a practice for focus that I call TAKE FIVE.

What I discovered was amazing. If I took just five minutes in the morning, I was able to center myself for the whole day. So I made my peace of mind, my #1 priority. When I added five minutes at night to complete the day, give thanks and check in on how I was doing, my mind went to sleep peacefully too. My dreams and my attitude changed and I became a much happier, joyful camper.

I'm often asked, why 30 days? It takes 28 days to make a new habit. When I was starting out to change old habits or create new behaviors, 30 days helped me keep my focus. With focus, I found that I had created new and lasting practices on my Diva journey.
